About us

They say less is more. Call us crazy, but we think that this old adage doesn’t apply to the way we dress. We believe that women can be modest and fashionable at the same time. But this combination isn’t always easy to pull off.

Miella (mee-yella) was born from our desire to positively contribute to improving the quality of life of women around the world. We believe that finding clothes that reflect your own set of values should not be a chore. You should not have to buy from 5 different stores to put together a single look. And you should definitely not have to stock up once a year when winter collections are out, because you can’t find anything in the market during the summer! We feel your pain and we have something for you.

We have worked long and hard with creative designers from various backgrounds so that we could offer modern designs and reflect the latest fashion trends while remaining true to our core values. We have kept in mind that you need to shop for whole looks, in styles that you want to wear, whether it be for running errands, for work or for enjoying a night out. We also know that you are unique and would want to mix and match so we also let you call the shots and put together your own looks.

Of course, designing and developing fashionable but modest collections hasn’t been an easy task. It is a big responsibility that we shoulder and we may not always get it right, but we will always try our best. In fact we would love it if you could share with us some of the wardrobe challenges that you face, so you can help us improve our offering (email us anytime at info@miella.com).

Oh, and one last thing. We make-up a team of compassionate people who understand the importance of giving back. The great boxing champ Mohammed Ali once said: “Service to others is the rent you pay for your room here on earth”.

We believe that we all share a responsibility towards helping others, and we are making you a part of that process. Awesome, right? So upon completing any Miella purchase, we are donating a portion of sales to a growing list of charities that we support.

Responsible shopping never looked so good!
